Courtesy of the Weather Channel:

"A BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING.

Today: Windy. Snow this morning will give way to snow showers this afternoon. Areas of blowing snow. High 19F. Winds W at 25 to 35 mph. Additional snow accumulating 2 to 4 inches.

Tonight: Windy with occasional snow showers. Low 18F. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 60%. Snowfall around one inch."

The 4 or 5 inches of snow we already have is on top of a sheet of ice and sleet that began yesterday evening. Even so, everyone made it home safely from the family Christmas party last night. We are warm and dry and have no need whatsoever to venture out the front door...

...or the back.

Life is good!

Merry Christmas, everyone!
